HACKNEYED Begins Recording New Album
March 27, 2009German death metal lunatics HACKNEYED have entered Weltraumstudios in Munich with producer Corni Bartels (DIE ÄRZTE, KILLERPILZE, END OF GREEN, MEGAHERZ etc.) to begin recording their new album, "Burn After Reaping".
Commented vocalist Phil: "We're really putting the pedal to the (death) metal with our ideas and Corni Bartels, our producer from the Weltraumstudios, creates some amazing sound which is going to blow your brains out!"
"Burn After Reaping" is scheduled for release this summer via Nuclear Blast Records.
HACKNEYED recently announced the departure of their longtime friend and guitarist iX. A permanent replacement has just been found in the shape of Juan Sierra.

HACKNEYED's video for the song "Gut Candy" can be viewed below. The track comes off the band's full-length debut, "Death Prevails", which was produced by Roger Grüninger and mastered by Achim Köhler. The CD was released in July 2008 via Nuclear Blast Records.
